Menu "Business Card Composer"

About
Displays the dialog with information about the program.

Preferences (Cmd-",")
Brings up the program preferences dialog.

Quit (Cmd-Q)
Exits the application.

Menu "File"

New (Cmd-N)
Creates a new blank card.

New from Assistant... (Cmd-Shift-N)
Creates a new card with Business Card Assistant help.

Open... (Cmd-O)
Opens an existing card.

Open Recent >
Opens one of the recently modified business cards.

Close (Cmd-W)
Closes currently active card window.

Save (Cmd-S)
Saves the active business card.

Save As... (Cmd-Shift-S)
Saves the active business card under a new title.

Export...
Saves the active card as a graphics file (PDF, TIFF, JPEG or EPS format).

Search Images in Internet...
Opens the dialog for searching and downloading images from the Internet.

Change Person...
Replaces business card texts with another person's information from the Address Book.

Card Properties...
Modifies specific card properties: printing layout, orientation, etc. See Card Properties Dialog.

Calibrate Printer
Opens the printer calibration dialog.

Page Setup... (Cmd-Shift-P)
Presents the standard Mac OS X dialog for changing the size, orientation and other parameters of the active page.

Print for Several People...
Prints the card for several people at once. For details see Printing for Several People.

Print Multiple Designs...
Prints desings from several files on one page. For details see Print Multiple Designs.

Print... (Cmd-P)
Brings up card print dialog with settings and preview. See the Printing dialog for details.

Order Cards Online...
Allows to prepare and send your card design for printing via an online print shop service. For more detail, see Ordering cards online.

Menu "Edit"

Undo (Cmd-Z)
Reverses the last operation you performed.

Redo (Cmd-Shift-Z)
Reverses the last Undo operation.

Cut (Cmd-X)
Removes the selected objects or text and places the selection onto the Clipboard.

Copy (Cmd-C)
Copies the selected objects or text onto the Clipboard.

Paste (Cmd-V)
Pastes the content of the Clipboard into the document.

Duplicate (Cmd-D)
Duplicates the selected objects.

Delete (Del)
Removes the selected objects.

Select All (Cmd-A)
Selects all objects on the business card.

Special Characters
Opens the system Character Palette for using special characters in the cards.

Menu "Insert"

Image From File...
Places an image from a file into the business card.

Random Image
Creates or replaces a randomly generated image.

Merge Image
Inserts an image-placeholder to replace it with automatically imported images.

Smart Shape
Places a Smart Shape from the internal vector image collection.

Menu "View"

Zoom In (Cmd-"=")
Magnifies the document scale.

Zoom Out (Cmd-"-")
Zooms out on the current view.

Actual Size
Displays the document at its actual size (100 %).

Fit Width
Fit Height
Fit Page
Fits the document size to width, height or the whole editing area.

ClipArt Collection
Opens image collection on the ClipArt panel.

iPhoto Library
Shows images from iPhoto library on the ClipArt panel.

Smart Shapes
Opens the internal Smart Shape collection on the ClipArt panel.

Custom Folder
Shows thumbnails of graphic files from the folder defined by the user.

Toggle Clipart Panel (Cmd-Opt-C)
Shows/hides the Clipart panel.

Back/Front Side
Opens the back or the front side of the card.

Background/Foreground Layer
Shows background or foreground editing layer.

Show/Hide Rulers (Cmd-R)
Presents the toolbar sheet that allows you to customize the toolbar.

Font > Show/Hide Fonts (Cmd-T)
Displays Fonts dialog.

Font > Bold (Cmd-B)
Font > Italic (Cmd-I)
Font > Underline (Cmd-U)
Modifies properties of the selected text.

Font > Bigger (Cmd-Opt-"-")
Font > Smaller (Cmd-Opt-"-")
Increases/decreases the size of the selected text.

Font > Kern
Font > Ligature
Font > Baseline
Modifies properties of the selected text.

Text > Align Left (Cmd-{)
Text > Center
Text > Align Right (Cmd-})
Aligns text to the left, right or center.

Text > Writing Direction
Changes the writing direction.

Image > Edit...
Opens the Edit Image window.
Image > Tile
Can be assigned for small repeating images.

Add Shadow
Adds shadow to the seleted object.

Bring Forward (Cmd-Opt-F)
Bring to Front (Cmd-Shift-F)
Send Backward (Cmd-Opt-B)
Send to Back (Cmd-Shift-B)
Displays the selected objects above or behind all other objects.

Move to Backround/Foreground
Moves selected objects to another layer.

Align > Left Edges (Cmd-Ctrl-L)
Align > Right Edges (Cmd-Ctrl-R)
Align > Top Edges (Cmd-Ctrl-T)
Align > Bottom Edges (Cmd-Ctrl-B)
Aligns edges of the selected objects.

Align > Centers Horizontally (Cmd-Ctrl-H)
Align > Centers Vertically (Cmd-Ctrl-V)
Aligns centers of the selected objects.

Align with First Selected > Left Edges (Cmd-Opt-Ctrl-L)
Align with First Selected > Right Edges (Cmd-Opt-Ctrl-R)
Align with First Selected > Top Edges (Cmd-Opt-Ctrl-T)
Align with First Selected > Bottom Edges (Cmd-Opt-Ctrl-B)
Aligns edges of the selected objects with the first selected object.

Align with First Selected > Centers Horizontally (Cmd-Opt-Ctrl-H)

Aligns centers of the selected objects with the first selected object.

Distribute > Spacing Vertically
Creates equal vertical spacing between the edges of the selected objects.

Distribute > Spacing Horizontally
Creates equal horizontal spacing between the edges of the selected objects.

Distribute > Centers Vertically
Creates equal vertical spacing between the centers of the selected objects.

Distribute > Centers Horizontally
Creates equal vertical spacing between the centers of the selected objects.

Close Window (Cmd-W)
Closes the currently active business card window.

Minimize Window (Cmd-M)
Minimizes the currently active window.

Bring All to Front
Moves all application windows in front of the windows of other active applications.

Inspector > Geometry (Cmd-1)

Opens the specified tab of the Inspector window.
