Business Card Composer allows using two editing layers: Foreground and Background. This will help you to better organize text and images used in your card.
When you are in Foreground layer, Background objects can be seen - but cannot be edited. This helps to work with complicated designs.
Use Background and Foreground tabs to move from one layer to another. The alternative way is to use menu commands Format > Move to Background and Format > Move to Foreground.
After switching to the Background layer, foreground objects can become invisible or semi- transparent. This behavior can be controlled from the General tab of the program Preferences (Cmd-,).
The application lets you create unique vector background images. Choose File > Generate Image menu to get an image that can be used as a background. To generate a new image, repeat this operation.
