The Apple Address Book is the multipurpose database with personal information. Its text fields correspond to business card fields. This makes complete integration with the Address Book data possible.
On the second step of creating the card with Assistant, you get the option to select a person from Address Book list.
Modifying your business card, you may change the person and his personal data. You can do this by dragging and dropping the person from the Address Book into the design or using the Change Person dialog (File > Change Person menu). The Source list in the dialog lets you choose which address to use (home, work, etc.).
When you create a new text field, the necessary data is filled automatically. If the Name field contains the person listed in your Address Book, other text fields will be filled automatically with his personal details.
To create a card for a new person, start from entering his data in your Address Book. This will allow multiple usage of this information in different cards and card design modification. This is the quickest way for creating business cards for your colleagues and friends.
