What for can I use Art Text?
Art Text can be used to apply effects to text and vector images: shadow, glow, stroke, geometric distortions and a 3D effect. The result of your work can be saved as an image

On what Macs does Art Text work?
It will run on Mac OS X v.10.4 (Tiger) and later.

To what file format can I save?
You can save to TIFF, PNG, GIF and JPEG file formats.

Program registration

The license code you gave me isn't being accepted by my program. How can I register it?
Please carefully Copy&Paste your license code into the License dialog. If you enter it manually, be attentive: don't use 'O' character, type only 0 (zero) digit in the license code. Please pay attention that there is also no capital letter 'I', but only 1 (one) digit in the license code.

Troubleshooting

The application quits. What should I do?
Please send detailed description to our Technical Support it quits and what you did before this (to make it possible for us to repeat the problem). Besides that, send us log-file, which contains details on how the application quits, you can find it:
~(Your Home)/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Art Text.crash.log

How to use Art Text with BCC, SP, DC, L&A or PF. Art Text License.
A license of Business Card Composer (BCC), Swift Publisher (SP), Disc Cover (DC), Label & Addresses (L&A) or PrintFolio (PF) allows you to use Art Text without purchasing an Art Text license. Such use of Art Text complies with these rules:

1. Art Text should be opened from the main program (registered BCC, SP, DC, L&A or PF). Use for this the “Art Text” tool bar button with “a” icon.
2. The graphics created in Art Text can be used only in the main program. To send an image from Art Text to the main program, click the “Link Back” button in the main window of Art Text.
3. Art Text opened as a stand-alone application works in the demo mode. A watermark is placed over the exported image. To use Art Text as a stand-alone application, you should purchase a license.

How can I install and uninstall Art Text?
To install, start the program installer.
To uninstall, remove:
— "Art Text" application from the Applications folder;
— "com.belightsoft.arttext.plist" file from "~(User Home)/Library/Preferences/";
— "Art Text" folder from ~(User Home)/Library/Application Support/BeLight Software/
