Exporting Vector Images

You may prefer output vector graphics because scaling will not affect its quality. Another possible reason to choose vector output is to edit an exported image in another application using vector graphic tools.

Not all images created in Art Text are in vector format. This depends on the original graphics and applied effects.

If any of this is true:

the final image will be in raster format.

The original content is vector for sure when it is text, shape or icon. See Layer Content window, Text tab, Shape tab and Icon tab correspondingly.
Images loaded form your hard drive can be in vector or raster format.

In Art Text, only PDF and EPS graphic formats can be used for saving vector images.

Effects produce vector or raster images according to this table.
