Selective use of the Country field - possible?

Postby CharlesWJ » October 27th, 2015, 11:37 am

I have created a mailing list which includes addresses in my country and elsewhere. Is there a way to make sure that L&A does not print my home country field while stilling printing the overseas countries? I appreciate that I can achieve by creating two lists. If L&A could 'test' the country field, it would be a great plus.

There is "Suppress Country field" option in print dialog. It hides country from the label for records where country equal to "Default address format" in application preferences.

Thanks. Unfortunately I started my address listing in one country (where the default format is set) and now live in another so I'll probably find it easier to have two separate lists.

Hi,

You can select in the Preferences a country whose name won't be printed because of the "Suppress Country field" check in the Print dialog. The rest will be printed. The location of the country list to choose your country is: Preferences dialog (Cmd-,) > the Address Panel tab.

Does it work for you?

Nick
