Open different file types
I just figured out my mail merge and printing issues, but now I was just thinking about the other professionals I work with. It doesn't look like I can open PDF files.... or any other common DTP software types for that matter. Can I seriously not collaborate with my colleagues who use InDesign and Quark with this program?

Hi
Currently, our software cannot open and save to InDesign and Quark formats. You can add PDF's you your document, but cannot edit content (such as text or images) inside them.

The usefulness of this app would increase ten fold if it could import and export in other desktop publishing formats, the most needed being IDML. There is an official file format specification for the IDML format available from Adobe and it would allow for collaboration with InDesign users.
I honestly think you are marketing to the wrong audience with all of the cheesy clip art. You should target professional users looking to move away from Adobe's predatory licensing policies. There are a lot of powerful but low cost alternatives to Photoshop, Illustrator, and other CC apps, but InDesign doesn't have any serious competition right now. That needs to change!
