Hi all I have sketch up seven.
I have created a simple 3d box in sketchup and imported in a JPG image which I used as an image ont he box. And then saved it.
When I import this into LI the jpeg image which should be on one surface of the box is infact about 80 metres to the right of it, making the 3d image unusable.
Has anyone else noticed this, or would they be so kind as to try this experiment for me. Create a simple 3d box, import an image as an image onto one surface then import it into LI.
If you don't add the JPEG and just import the box everything is fine.
I am on OSX and have tried it on two different computers with the same result

Hi,
What are the versions of Live Interior and Mac OS X are on your computer?
Please send your Sketchup model and JPEG image to support@belightsoft.com - we'll try to repeat this problem.
Try to import the box without that JPEG. Then create a texture in Live Interior using your JPEG image and then apply this texture to the box.

Yea I suppose I could do that, thing is its like a chinese food box so not perfectly square. I will send the skp file now, its not very large.
I am using the latest version of sketchup and live interior standard.

Thanks for sending me that object. A quick workaround is to import this object with the "Split Object Instances" option activated (see File > Import 3D Object). Imported this way, the object is a group of the box and label. I've ungrouped it, placed the label on the box side, and grouped them together.
The problem may be caused by a bug in the program or by the object itself. We'll check this object more carefully and, if necessary, fix the object importing function.
