I am a little confused with the geolocation feature (I am using LH3D Pro).
I am using blocks with roofs on them as neighboring houses and I want to see how much shadow they will cast onto my backyard at different times of the day.
I entered the correct location, as well as the desired date and time. However when I set the compass so that my backyard is toward the south, I see that the shadows to do not match at all.
It ends up putting the sun setting on the East (which of course can't be).
I thoroughly used the website www.suncalc.org to determine the path of the sun in relation to my house (which I know from being in my yard that it matches perfectly). But in order to have that path match the sun in LH3D, I have to set my backyard as facing almost completely to the north.
Does anyone have any idea as to what might be wrong?
How does the geolocation work?
