If we create a logo using Art Text and only include in the logo, icons and shapes or modifications to those icons and shapes that come with Art Text, can the resulting logo be Trademarked? No external clipart or images being used.

Hi lemuelj,

You may use the art created with our programs for commercial purposes. The usage of clipart supplied with the program has some limitations. Please check the Licene Agreement for more information.

Generally saying, you can create your own logo using the provided content. But you cannot use a template with no modifications for this purpose.

Thanks Nick, I did not see anything specific in the End User agreement for Art Text on this issue. On the end user agreement for say Swift Publisher it is spelled out very clearly. So just asking for clarification.

According to your post #1, there you will be able to use your logo as a trademark.
