Postby KipV » May 8th, 2015, 6:31 pm

Every time I try to import a numbers spreadsheet I get the following error message

Numbers got an error: sheet of remove id "7B253C86-E03B-4025-8D72-8977A3354F33" doesn’t understand the “count” message.

Did you try to open speadsheet directly from Finder? Once the message appear in Numbers window, it is something related to Numbers application and/or this particular spreadsheet file.

No, I didn't open it from the Finder I just click the "update current data source" button and tried selecting the file from there. This morning I moved the file from the desktop to iCloud and the error message went away! Not sure what that was about but fortunately the problem is solved now.

I have the same problem. I installed Labels and Addresses on an iMac and get the same error when trying to import a numbers file for a certificate. It will not recognise an Excel file at all.

Yesterday I updated it to the latest version and Volia it worked!

Today, back to the same error message even with the files that I used successfully yesterday. Doesn't matter whether I open it from Finder, Desktop, USB. Same error.

Any help appreciated or a refund. Bit sick of paying for things that don't work.

At the same time, cannot use a numbers file to do the same thing in 'Printworks' even though the marketing behind printworks implied that it replaced all of the other programs. Another waste of money if it doesn't do as its meant to.

Typical, Close3d the program again and re-opened and it works now
