Envelope print failure / Canon Pixma MX892

When I first found the L&E app and used it with my Canon MX892 I was so pleased. Printed directly on envelopes for our daughters wedding invites / reception invites / Christmas cards. In past Windows print envelope programs would usually waste 5-10 envelopes getting it all aligned and working. Then with L&E, addresses came from the MAC contacts list and several times printed the envelope correctly the very first time.

Now just 4 months after Christmas cards, trying to print wedding shower invites, it is like I am on another planet: can't getting front side of envelope to print anywhere near where it shows on screen in the app. Back side return address won't print at all.

Tech details: Mac MBPro: Mac OS 10.8.5 / have downloaded the latest L&E and latest Mac OS patches. Canon PIXMA MX 892 / Using the envelope feeder. Created new 5.5 X 7.5 inch envelope. On screen in the app the addresses and formatting looks flawless. But when printed, the address starts on the left side of the envelope, unless I drag the onscreen address box way to the right.
Tried the main tray: won't feed that small an item from main tray.
And the back of the envelope "sender" address won't print at all.

Did a software update break something? Help please. Can post pictures if that helps.
THANK YOU.

Did you enable "Load from envelope" tray option in the first print dialog? I would recommend you to do that regardless of where you load envelopes from. Disabling that options is only for sizes not supported by your device natively.
