SP 4 crashes on opening in Mountain Lion

Have had no problems until today. Now, after several attempts and a cold reboot, it still crashes. Last document I created was on 8 November and used one of the stock illustrations.

The program (Swift Publisher 4 [464]) will open with the welcome panel and a blank page. When I try to open an existing document it will appear for a few seconds and then SP crashes. The crash report that comes up includes:
Application Specific Information:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[NSConcreteScanner scanUnsignedLongLong:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7f81e40b2890'
abort() called
terminate called throwing an exception

Not being a programmer, I have only a vague idea what that means but hope it gives enough info to help me get round this...

I have saved the full crash report as a TextEdit doc.

Update - moved SP4 to Trash and downloaded and installed a new copy. Same result.

I then moved a copy of one document on to the MBP (High Sierra) and it opened without problems in SP4, so I'm guessing (and it IS just guess!) it may be a corrupt plist. I'm not very techie so, if it is, could someone tell me which of these to delete?

Thanks for a great app (been using it since SP3) - thoroughly enjoy using it and rarely have any problems :)

You should delete both files and reboot the computer. In fact, this file is the program preferences:
The first file in your list is automatically created by the operating system.
Also delete the cache

If you have this folder
~/Library/Autosave Information
move all Swift Publisher's documents from it to another folder.

Then try to open Swift Publisher.
