Just upgraded to El Capitan and finding SP2 is crashing rather a lot around copying and saving. I'll send you the crash logs.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we cannot fix this crash in SP2. All new changes and bug fixes can be applied to the current version which is SP4.

I expected you to say this! A shame because many other programs work fine. I will have to wave a sad farewell to SP2 - it has been a mainstay since June 2006 - 10 years! Moving around SP4 is nowhere near as smooth, and of course it has its own bugs, not the least of which is the bad pdf output, reported on several occasions and still waiting for a fix. Also the terrible delay in the print dialogue box - seconds for each change - with A3 landscape paper setting showing as portrait in the dialogue box. Plus lots of other issues flagged up since the launch.

I'll remind the developers about the problems you mentioned.

Seven months gone and no improvement?

I'm finding that SP2 runs fine under El Capitan as long as I don't try to cut, which crashes it immediately.

Hi,

It is not possible to make any changes in SP2 because the program has already evolved to version 4.

Nick, I appreciate that, but I was surprised, and pleased, to find that 99% of the program is still functional.
