Update text from Style?

Postby strider72 » September 11th, 2015, 1:20 pm

I have a custom Style called XYZ. I create a bunch of text boxes over many pages of a document using this style.

Now I decide I want all XYZ text to be a different font, or italic, or whatever. I can update the Style for future use, but it doesn't update the existing text boxes using that Style.

Is there any way to tell Swift Publisher to update the font settings of any existing text of that particular Style?

Unfortunately, currently application doesn't update style across the document.

Actually, I've discovered I can't even update the Style for future use. I have a style that I want to change from 9pt to 10pt size. I go into Edit Styles, and change the Font setting to 10pt. They Style still uses 9pt. No way I can find to make the change actually stick.

What the heck use are Styles in the program????

It seems that if you save the document, close it, then reopen, the changes to Styles will appear.

Nope. Restarting the app does not fix it consistently. I am currently completely unable to create a Style for captions that displays Times New Roman, italic, 10 pt.

The Styles functionality in Swift Publisher is totally broken. Unusable. It's really infuriating.
