How to delete "My Template" files?

Postby Steve Z » August 24th, 2014, 10:01 am

Hello,

I recently started using Swift Publisher and like many new users I had experimented with saving test custom "My" templates. Now that i have a good grasp of how the program works I am trying to delete the many test "My Templates" that I have created to clear up the clutter. I can't find how to do this.

How do I delete templates in "My Templates?"

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve Z
At the right of the "My Templates" text (in the left column of the Templates Gallery window), there's a small arrow pointing to the right.
Clicking on this small icon opens the folder containing your own templates.
Tip: after deleting some files, when you return to SP, you will need to select another templates category then the "My Templates" one to update the templates previews.

Nick, it seems there's none infos about this in the SP documentation.

Hi Steve,

To delete a custom template, select the My Templates category in the Template Gallery, then click on a small arrow on the selection bar. This will bring you to the folder where user's templates are stored.
