I am testing the software as a possible alternative to higher priced packages. Our output is 100% PDF - and our needs are relatively simple - so traditional high-end layout programs are too over the top. We do need one feature however that I don't seem to be able to find - the ability to create layouts that have multiple page sizes - for example - an 8 1/2 x 11 cover and back page with an 11x17 2-page spread for the inside pages.

is this possible in Swift Publisher?

Thanks

Hi,
Seems like there's no way to mix different page sizes in a same document.

However, you may try this:
- make your whole document using the same page size for all pages (so 8 1/2 x 11 in your example)
- then using imposition, make an 11 x 17 pdf file for page 3 through page 6 (or more)
- and make an 8 1/2 x 11 pdf file for the cover (page 1 through 2)
Don't forget to add blank page(s) in your SP document (page 2 as the back of the front cover could be blank).

Pros:
- all pages are in the same SP document, more practical to manage them
- you may print it on 8 1/2 x 11 paper sheets without any modification if needed
- adding/inserting/deleting/moving pages is no more a "headache" using the same page size for all pages (the use of Master Pages helps too).

Cons:
- you end up with two pdf files

Hope this helps.
