I'm using Transmit 4.0 to mount my personal website and am trying out GetBackup to that location.

I'm unable to get it to reliably function though.
It works well w/ straightforward documents and files (PDFs, docs, etc).
But, when I try to backup a database (DevonTHink) or iTunes
it fails to do so. I don't really care about space so I'm doing full backups,
but have concerns that I need to be able to pull everything back if I have a crash. So far, restore has failed to work for these types of files.

I'm trying 2.32.
I guess I could just manually drag everything over w/ Transmit, but I like
the interface w/ GBD. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi BSkoj,

The problem may arise because some original files don't have appropriate permissions, or because of problems in the network connection.

The detailed log may clarify whats happening. Pleas send it to us:

To open the folder containing your logs, open the log window (Cmd-L) and click the Log History button. By creation date and time, find one that corresponds your attempt to backup your database.

What's the state of the "Use administrator privileges" checkbox in the program preferences? If it is deselected, select it and try to backup again.

Did you try to copy your database to the web site manually?
