Hi all
If you wish to add some metadata (title, author, subject, content creator, keywords…) to pdf files when creating them from SP, DC, LA, BCC, you may use File>Print>PDF>Save As PDF File…
Unfortunately, this doesn't work when using bleeds as in this case, right and bottom sides of your documents are cropped to make space for left and top bleeds.
When using File>Export then choosing PDF as file format, you get the right document with bleeds. Unfortunately (one more time) there's no way to add metadata when exporting (File>Export…).
So, I've made a "little" tool I've named: Add Metadata.workflow.
Here's the way it works:
1. download this tool from BeLight Community website:
http://belightcommunity.free.fr/display_file.php?id=48
2. unzip the downloaded archive (Add Metadata.workflow.zip)
3. move the Add Metadata.workflow file to this folder: /Library/PDF Services/
Don't move it to ~/Library/PDF Services/ as BeLight applications don't scan this particular folder.
4. from now, Add Metadata is available from all BeLight applications that let users to select a PDF filter from Export pane
5. example from SP:
- open a SP document
- select File>Export
- select PDF as format then click Options… button
- from PDF Filter menu select Add Metadata

Next steps are illustrated with these screenshots:

- name your pdf the way you want

- add metada

(leave blank Content Creator field if you want SP (DC, LA, BCC…) appears as content creator)

- metadata as they appear in Preview Inspector

- added keywords as they appear in Preview Inspector

Notes:
- this pdf file is saved (or moved to be more precise) onto your desktop
- a "small" drawback is that SP (DC…) creates another pdf file onto your desktop. You may delete it w/o any problem
Hope this helps.

Nick:
- as said before, SP and its friends (DC…) don't scan into ~/Library/PDF Services/ folder. May we hope a small update to fix this (before SP3 of course ;^)) ?
- when using PDF filters from File>Export (say Compress PDF or Add Metadata), SP creates two different pdf files. Is there a way to avoid this?

I've reminded the developers about these issues.
