In 3D live is there any way to tone down the brightness of the colors in the paint library? Can the colors be edited in any way? For example, I want to use a light pastel color on a wall....but every color I choose is way too bright.

Hi Newlark,

The materials (colors) provided in the material library cannot be altered. You can create a custom material. The Pro edition lets you adjust colors in the editor of materials. In the Standard edition you cannot edit materials.

Note that there are materials with textures (bricks for instance). In both Pro and Standard editions you can create new materials with custom textures. By changing the tone of the texture (in another program) you can create a material with needed brightness.
