Hi!
I feel like I must be going mad! I'm trying to do something so simple, I know I've done before, but it just won't work!
I am trying to fill a basic shape with an image from the background library.
I add the basic shape, select the image I want to fill it with, drag and drop it onto the shape - but it doesn't fill the shape, it just imports the file!
What am I doing wrong?????
Thanks in advance!

Hi paulaann,

Probably you did this in another our application (Disc Cover, for instance). Business Card Composer cannot fill a shape with an image. We are going to add this feature in the next version.

Hi,
A (easy) workaround;
- first, import your image
- then check Inspector>Image>Mask image checkbox
- now, just drag/drop a basic shape (works with any image and Smart shapes too) into the Mask preview box.
Note that you may have to adjust size (proportions) of the resulting image.
Hope this helps.

I thought I was going mad!
Yes, of course, it was Swift Publisher I done this in. Now I feel really silly :o(
Thanks for the tip Jean-Jacques - yes, a good alternative.
Look forward to the next version :o)
