Hi,
No way to use Opacity values greater than 8% for the Color of Shadow with Basic Shapes without getting a solid color with no opacity.
Try this setting the Blur value to zero so it's easier to see.
No such problem with other images from ClipArts or Smart Shapes.

Hi,
On my computer I have the same. At 8-10% of opacity the shadow is almost black. I think the next update will fix this.
