Hi melanieeliasson
You should verify the state of the "Locked" checkbox for this file:
- from the Finder, select the file
- open its file infos panel (Cmd-I or something like "Display File Infos" (not sure of the exact label in english). You may also right-click/control-click on the file icon then select this menu item from the contextual menu.
- see if the "Locked" checkbox is checked and unchecked it if necessary

(the "Locked" checkbox is the last one at the bottom of the pane ("Vérouillé" in French)

Hi melanieeliasson,

It's a new feature introduced in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. In the title bar of the main window, click on "Locked". In the pop-up menu select Unlock.

The document auto saving feature in Lion was aimed to mimic the way iOS works with documents. From my point, this is quite confusing.

Hi rjmas,

How do you know that your card is locked?

What version of Mac OS are you using?
