First of all, I have to gang print several files - around 50+ pages at a time. The files contain text and some graphics. The file sizes are around 500k. If I print them out through Disc Cover, the first 6 or so will print, then my printer will grind to a near halt and wheeze through the rest printing about one sheet every minute or so while humming loudly like it's dying.

I tried saving the files as PDFs and printing the same way, but I got the same problem. Now, I can print the same amount of full page jpg photos and not have this issue.

Any ideas would be really, really helpful because I'm about to jump out a window.

Hi,

When you print a PDF, Disc Cover isn't involved in this process (you probably print using the Preview application). The fact that problem persists indicates that the process slows down not because of Disc Cover.

Those 50+ pages you print are copies of one page, is it correct?

Please send your document to support@belightsoft.com – we will try to print it and see what happens. Add the link to this forum in your email.
