I own Disc Cover 2 (for Mac) and am really happy with it. But Toast Titanium 10 updates make me want to pull my hair out. Toast updates always installs fresh RE versions that I don't want or need. I put them in the trash, but Toast still insists on trying to pop up the RE version anyway at the end of the disc burning process. I suppose I could delete my Disc Cover 2 preference file (it's the only preference file for the app in my system), but I like my DC-2 preferences and I don't want to lose or change them. Any ideas?

Hi ovelky,

Do you need Toast to automatically open the the full version instead of RE, or it should open nothing?

I would prefer that it open nothing, since I often need to batch produce CD's and print the labels at a different time.

On my computer Toast doesn't open Disc Cover, so I cannot give you a 100% working solution. There is something to do with Toast settings. Click the gear button in its main window and choose Recorder Settings. In the Advanced tab, switch off "Remind me to label disc". Maybe this can help.

I just tried your suggestion and it worked like a charm! What an odd place to hide such a "preference" box. I would have expected it to be in Toast's Preference pane. Nevertheless, problem resolved. Thanks so much for your help, Nick.
