HI,

Im trying to print onto a disc using my Canon MP610. I have selected tray F and it only prints to paper. When i was printing to disc on my PC the printer would prep itself then prompt me to open the cover and insert the disc tray f. Now using Disc Cover it will print directly to paper and if i try leaving the tray in the slot and not letting it prep itself it says to close the disc tray cover.

Thanking you in advance

Brendan

Also i get this message just before printing

Canon printers:
From the Layout drop-down (Copies & Pages in OS X 10.4) choose Quality & Media and set Media Type to Printable Disc.

I have no idea where this is, can you please provide screen shots.

Thanks
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

If your print dialog doesn't display all the settings, click a small button with a triangle icon:

Open the lower pop-up menu

and choose Quality & Media.

In the Media Type pop-up, select "Printable disc":
