Although on screen the photos used look bright enough when I print the CD label it prints dark. I can print the photos direct from Aperture using the same printer with no problems!! Any suggestions

Hi nelliottshome,

Please check if there is no graphic effects (mask, Core Image filter, tint, etc.) were applied to the image.

Different print results may be given by different settings in the standard print dialog when print from Disc Cover and Aperture. Make sure that the same preset is selected here. To find out what's happening, it is better to choose the Standard preset.

Did you use the same type of paper when compared two programs?

Try to:
1. Add your photo into a blank Disc Cover document. This way you will be sure that no graphic effects and no other objects in the design affect what is printed.
2. Compare pictures from Aperture and Disc Cover on the screen. In each program, select File > Print. Then, in the standard print dialog, click the Preview button (or PDF > Open PDF in Preview).
3. Print with inverted state of the "Print as Raster Image" check box, in the print dialog of Disc Cover.
