Hi,

I got Disc Cover RE with Toast 8 and was so enamoured with the app that I upgraded to the full version via download with the discs to follow.

The version that came with Toast 8 was RE version 1.3.1 (v166)
The downloaded upgrade is the full version 1.3.1 (v166)
The boxed discs came today and are version 1.3

In the Downloads section of the BeLight site the most recent version is 1.2.1

Is this just an oversight?

Is there any advantage to loading the 1.3 discs over the top of the 1.3.1 download in terms of any further templates and then re-installing 1.3.1?

Finally, is there any way of getting Toast 8 to point to the upgraded full version of Disc Cover rather than the lite RE version that appears in Toasts' Extras menu?

Tks

Hi,
Update to version 1.3.1 was made for Disc Cover RE.

We are working on the next update that will cover all branches of Disc Cover (Standard and RE).

CD version has greater image library. If you don't need more images, you can leave downloaded 1.3.1. Otherwise you can choose custom installation type in the installer and set only additional clipart to install.

According to our agreement with Roxio, Toast comes with Disc Cover RE and update link must point to the RE edition. If you upgrade to the standard version, you will get the corresponding update link in its menu.

Thanks Nick,

It requires a reboot for the pointer in Toast to load the standard version.

Even though the link in 'Extras' on the menu in Toast still reads Disc Cover RE, it boots the standard version as you describe.
