Hi.

I have a HP Deskjet 6940 inkjet printer and have a problem correctly calibrating the printer.
Changing the margins does not have any logical results. For instance, with default settings, the printout is slightly too far to the left (approx. 2mm). However, when I now set the horizontal margin to - say 0.5 inches - the next printout is even further to the left! And - this part really is beyond my understanding of logic - setting the margin to -0.5 inches still places the printout too far to the left and what's more - even further than the first one with default settings.

Any ideas?

I am using the latest version of DiscCover (downloaded today).

Hi,
The calibration dialog (File->Calibrate Printer) prints two rulers. The design element can cross the ruler on positive or negative side. Enter the coordinate of this point in the calibration dialog. To check the result, print your label or cover via File->Print (don't print the calibration sheet again).
