I am struggling to print direct onto a disc using a Canon MG5250, i am able to print the box covers fine but not the disc

I have the correct tray settings but every time i try to print it informs me to load the paper tray at the rear, it is as if disc cover is not informing printer that it should be printing on disc even when tray is inserted into machine

can any help or have any suggestion

Hi Karl,

Please try to follow the instruction on this page:
http://www.belightsoft.com/products/disccover/DCHelp/print_disc.html
paying attention to settings in steps (2), (4), and (8). The last one is in the system print dialog.

Also note that you should use the latest versions of Disc Cover and your printer driver.

Same problem here...I have a Canon MP990 and just upgraded to Lion on my iMac.

Now when I try to print to a CD/DVD I get the same message about loading paper in the rear paper tray. The printer seems to ignore the CD tray setting altogether! I have the latest Canon driver, so that doesn't seem to be the problem.

Is this a problem because of the Lio upgrade?

If so, when will a fix be available, as I really need to be able to print CD covers.

Dave,

Please make sure that you are using the latest version. In the main menu, choose Disc Cover 3 > Check for Updates.

Hi Dave,

Check settings in the system print dialog. For instance, the media type option must be set to printing on CD/DVD. Other details see in the documentation (link in post #2).

Try to print on a disc using the Canon's utility. Does it work?

Also you can re-install the printer driver using the instruction in post #3 in
